What things did your band try in order to get on the radio and did they work?

The only thing i have ever done was walk straight to the studio. and handed it to the receptionist. no one has ever told me why my music would not be selected. i just assume when they don’t email back. also don’t think that radio station played alot of local music and played alot of Rock n Roll. So picking the right station is very important. Classic rock stations won’t play your new music. KJEE in Santa Barbara is a modern rock station which is a perfect platform for us.
