Tell us about your band.

I am an acoustic-pop singer, songwriter, guitarist from Orlando, FL. I released my debut EP, “Love Is A Choice” in February of 2011. The single, “Girl:1 Boy:0, made it to the top 10 of The Indie Music Channel’s vote-based radio show called The Radio Cafe. My goal is simple: use my music to light up the dark.

Have you ever had your music played on College or FM Radio?

One of my former bands was played on WIld 95.5 in South Florida. We were also interviewed on air as contestants in a battle of the bands which we later won.

What things did your band try in order to get on the radio and did they work?

I have, regretfully, tried cold calling and unsolicited submissions which obviously fail. From personal networking, I have a couple leads on local/college radio that I am currently pursuing.

Stay tuned for our next installment of “Get on the Radio: Tales of Toil and Triumph”! Be sure to submit music for radio airplay on Earbits!
