Tell us about your band.

Hip hop. Been together since the late 90’s though we been since homies since elementary school. We put out the classic album “Overproof” and we’re ’bout to drop the soon to be classic “Background Music”.

Have you ever had your music played on College or FM Radio?

We’ve been on KALX, KCSB, and KXLU when Mike Nardone was doing “We Came From Beyond”. We also were fortunate to get on the “Wake Up Show” back in the day. We’ve done phone interviews for college radio stations all over the U.S.

What things did your band try in order to get on the radio and did they work?

It’s just a matter of networking and being assertive. Most cats that you know through friend or music industry contact that have a radio show we’ll let you go on there if you ask them. It doesn’t take much strategy, usually it’s just a matter of being straight up and asking. If peeps are cool, they will let you go on there.
